Prison Book program

The Prison Book Program first became connected with United First Parish Church in 2004. The Congregation had been working on the UUA Study Action on Prison Reform and had attended sermons/workshops presented by our affiliate minister, Reverend Margie King-Saphier, on the topic.
 

When Prison Book program needed a home, we were ready. It has been a wonderful partnership ever since. We are proud of the work the Prison Book Program does, and we support their mission to bring books to the incarcerated.
 

Dictionaries fly off their shelves as fast as people donate them. Other current favorites include crossword puzzles and Sudoku. Consider making a donation to the Prison Book Program, their website is listed below.
