Quincy is easily accessible by highway and the MBTA’s Red Line, which has four stops in Quincy: North Quincy, Wollaston, Quincy Center and Quincy Adams stations.
From Boston and Points North:
Take Route 95 South through Boston to Route 93 South. Take Exit 12 (“Quincy/Neponset”) and follow the Quincy signs over the Neponset Bridge. At the top of the bridge, take the Hancock Street exit. Follow Hancock Street for approximately 2.75 miles to Quincy Center. United First Parish Church of Quincy will be on your right just past the traffic light where Hancock-Adams Green begins.
Take Route 95/128 North to Route 93 North. Take Exit 18 to Burgin Parkway/Quincy Center. Follow Burgin Parkway to Quincy Center. After passing through the intersection of Burgin Parkway and Granite St. (Burger King will be on your left), you will pass the Quincy Center MBTA station on your right. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Dimmock Street. At the first set of lights, turn right onto Hancock Street. Approximately two blocks South, United First Parish Church of Quincy will be on your right just past the traffic light where Hancock-Adams Green begins.
From Cape Cod:
Take Route 3 North to Exit 19. Follow Burgin Parkway to Quincy Center. After passing through the intersection of Burgin Parkway and Granite St. (Burger King will be on your left), you will pass the Quincy Center MBTA station on your right. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Dimmock Street. At the first set of lights, turn right onto Hancock Street.
Approximately two blocks South, United First Parish Church of Quincy will be on your right just past the traffic light where Hancock-Adams Green begins.
By Rail:
From Boston, take either the MBTA Red Line or the Old Colony Commuter Rail (Middleboro/Lakeville Line) to the Quincy Center stop. Exit the station to your left onto Hancock Street. To your right past Hancock-Adams Park, you will see United First Parish Church of Quincy in the traffic circle island on your right.
For choir practice, meditation group and evening events, please enter church through side door on Washington Street, and ring the doorbell if door is locked.
Parking:
United First Parish Church does not have a dedicated parking lot. Parking is available on the street or in nearby parking garages or parking lots. Street parking is free and does not have a time limit on Sundays or on evenings after 6:00 pm. On weekdays and Saturdays street parking is free but is limited to 1 or 2 hours; please read signs carefully.
Downtown Quincy has the below parking garages and lots close by to the church.
Presidents Place Garage:
The garage is located at 1250 Hancock Street. The Entrance is at the end of Saville Avenue. It is about half a block from the church.
Hancock Parking Garage:
The garage is located at the corner of Chestnut Street and Dennis Ryan Parkway. It is about a block from the church.
Quincy District Court Lot:
The lot is located at 1 Dennis Ryan Parkway. It is about a block from the church.
